My best friend recommended that I try out Dex New York to get my Makeup done. She said that the makeup was wonderful, that they had so many beautiful shades and colors. When I went everyone was so nice to me and they treated me like they knew me for years. Cataling did my makeup and we worked together to find the perfect shades for me. There were so many different options but we were able to pick colors that would work best with me. I have to say that after she was done I looked very beautiful. It wasn't a lot of makeup like when you see women in the street with an over dose of makeup on. It was the perfect amount and it brought out my natural beauty. The studio was perfect. It was like one of those rooms where all the models go before a fashion show. I felt very good about myself and Cataling and I talked the whole time. The whole place is very friendly and while she was doing my makeup people would come in and say how nice I looked. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice place to get their makeup done and not some stuffy place. It has a nice environment, music is playing and when your waiting they have a nice couch to sit on and read magazines. They also ask if you would like anything to drink. Dex is also near Madison Square Garden and Macy's. You can go shopping when your done or before and then go out and hang with your friends. I am so glad that my friend recommended this place to me. Now when ever I feel like I need a touch up or just feel like looking nice or I need to go somewhere like a wedding I know the perfect place to go.
