Review content:
I have been to Finz twice. The first time was Valentine's Day this year. Everything was great, and we left happy. The second time was tonight, when we brought some friends from out of town after telling them the place was good. The food, I'll say from the start, was pretty good. Between the bunch of us we had tuna, lobster ravioli, and fish & chips, and none of us had complaints about the taste of the food. But the service was very sketchy. The waiter was rude--abrupt, repeated questions between visits to the table, only asked one person whether she wanted a drink and then just walked away when she said no thanks, etc. Then, about 2 minutes after getting our salads, two staff members brought our main courses, completely ignoring the fact that we had just begun our salads and had no room on the table for the main courses. They just stared at us and then asked, ""Who gets the tuna?"" Our friend said, ""I do, but I've just started my salad."" And the staff member just looked at him, as if waiting for him to finish the salad. Then they put the food on a neighboring table and stared at each other for a while. Another waiter finally came over and suggested bringing the food back to the kitchen. Then during the meal our waiter asked to take our plates but we clearly were not done eating. I have never felt so rushed at a restaurant. And I'm a fast eater! I was mortified that I brought my friends only to have this experience. The food is good, but it will at least be a while before I return.
