Excited to try a new Thai restaurant to satisfy my urges for Pad Thai, I ventured over to Wellesley, to experience Amarin Thai. Expectations high, disappointment began with the lack attentive service ? from not bringing a wine list, to nearly forgetting us all together. Now, I do look younger than my age, but when I ask for the wine list, you should realize that?s going to inflate the bill and thus your tab. Prompts, and pointed stares brought no acknowledgement ? instead I had to flat out ask for her to take our order. Now on to the meal. We ordered Chicken Satay and Golden Ka-Tong. It might have been better had we stuck to the appetizers as both were right on par with what I expect and love from Thai cuisine. I am determined to try all pad thai in order to rank a restaurant, and therefore of course ordered. Easily, the WORST pad thai I have ever experienced. The ?noodles? tasted and resembled that of Italian vermicelli ? not what I would want or even expect in a thai dish. Flavor lacked, and I had to mix in peanut sauce to make the meal more enjoyable. Need to try Lemon Thai as that is often compared to here. Needless to say, I am not returning. Pros: its thai food? really there are not any Cons: service, the pad thai...
