Review content:
I was motivated by Alice's story (an excellent trainer who never yells at you - ask me nice and I will do almost anything) and decided to sign up along with my partner-in-crime (who would rather watch soap operas and had never touched a weight in her life) back in June. Six months now and still going! I have always been active throughout my younger, athletic days but never realized just how out of shape I really was as a over 40 weekend slug! Both of us have lost weight and gained muscle (though not looking to bulk up. Just make my clothes fit comfortably!) Every day is a new day which makes coming to the gym fun. Not the same reps and weights. Love the bootcamp and the womens fitness program! As mentioned in another review, the staff is very friendly and the friendships you develop in the groups make it fun to come back. We are all going thru the same pain..(it's only one hour out of your day. The hardest part is getting out of bed at 5am to make it to 6:30 class).. it's like going to a CHEERS bar where everyone knows your name! The cheaper, big box gyms don't motivate or care if you are there or not. They have your money. At Stayoung, they care that you make it and WILL call you if you are being missed. (Big brother is watching). It's worth the price! Try it, you'll like it! Pros: weight loss, new friends, clothes fit, muscle/strength Cons: getting out of bed at 5am
