I dont know how that self-loathing person could live with his/ herself after having made that horrific comment about my favorite salon. Listen, I have tried everywhere, Mario Russo, James Joseph, even Supercuts, in search of the favorite haircut; and nowhere save Avanti, have I encountered a hairstylist as patient and accomodating to my picky, bitchy taste. I went to the owner, Alex for my color, who I just learned has won best colorist of Boston several times, and I got my haircut with Julia. Both worked with me to give me a hairstyle that would suit my face and lifestyle. I love Alex!! He is not you stereotypical hairdresser, but instead works to make sure you feel calma and relaxed; while Julia gave me the best haircut and blowout I have ever gotten. Personally, I feel that if you want to go to a salon where the owner and the staff work to make sure you walk out of there feeling happy, confident, and looking greatl; then I'd highly recommend booking an appointment at Avanti.
