When I first moved to Boston 13 years ago I noticed a woman with an amazing haircut. I asked her who her stylist was and she directed me to Richard, now at Avanti. Although he has been my stylist for nearly 13 years, my cut is not dated; I believe his effort to stay ""current"" keeps me looking fresh and polished. I believe Richard's talent lies in his ability to listen to his client's wishes and use his experience to create an amazing end result. My most recent cut is the reason I'm writing; he employed a technique using a razor to layer my long hair; I'm thrilled with the result. For me, the 60 mile round trip to Boston from my home is well worth the trip. Richard is a talented stylist and Avanti is a great salon.
