Went in to get my teeth back in order. They took my X-Rays developed them and then I guess a Dentist walked in. Didn't even introduce himself just looked into the slides named off some procedures and then left the room. The insurance lady comes in (reminds me of the car dealer finance and insurance person) starts naming off these procedures and what I needed. She starts telling me about deep cleaning and that I need it to prevent further damage. She keeps pushing it. I say okay whats next? I needed a couple of root canals around 1000 bucks each and I had some cavities. Then she tries to sell me on the high end crowns with the gold. I tell her that i am not worried because they are molars and nobody is going to see them. All and all it comes out to 6,000$. I laugh and she tells me about a credit card with no interest. I tell her I would rather pay cash in payments and she gets mad that I don't want to pay the full price up front. I tell her I have to think about it and then she gets up and leaves telling me to pay my copay. That's it. Thank you very much. I guess i will be paying for dental plan insurance. Pros: None that I can think of Cons: Sales Tactics.
