Greetings to Jim, Russ, Darla, Jeremy, Gustavo, Rene, et al; my wife and I would like to briefly note our total satisfaction with Broomhall Brothers and its people. For all who read this testimonial, our tale of woe started back in late September when we discovered that the pilot light for our old Crane boiler was not operating. We called XCEL and they sent out a service crew who relit the pilot light. About two weeks later we were startled when we heard what can best be described as pounding or thumping coming form the boiler along with the pilot light still going out intermittently. We then contacted Broomhall Brothers to send someone out and take a closer look at the boiler. Over the next two weeks the Broomhall staff tried to determine, and fix, what was causing the problems. Not once did the staff try to push replacing the boiler, even though the existing system was quite old. Finally we talked to Jim about the existing system and he laid out some repair alternatives, but we very concerned with the safety of the old system so we decided to go with a new boiler. Jim outlined the options, the costs and timeline for a new boiler. We decided on a Dunkirk unit. Gustavo, Russ and the rest of the installation crew began the work as scheduled and it was carried through without delay. The crew actually had to dismantle the old unit to remove it. The removal and the setting up of the new unit went very smoothly and without a hitch and with no damage to the surroundings. They were friendly, capable and professional. The Dunkirk boiler has operated perfectly since then and the City of Denver inspector was very pleased with the work. We are very satisfied with the unit and the service we received from everybody at Broomhall Brothers. Thanks guys. Larry Grauberger Diane Dillingham Denver, CO.
