Honestly, I wouldn't even give Adventure Outdoor 1 star if I had that option. We choose to order a gun from them after several recommendations from friends & coworkers and reading several positive reviews online. We ordered our gun on December 30, 2011 and paid for it in full ($600) and still have no idea when we will receive it (4 months later). We've called them at least 20 times since we placed our order and each time we were told they didn't know why it was taking so long to receive, to call them back in 2 weeks. Sometimes I could talk to them on my husband's behalf, other times I was told it was ""store policy"" they had to talk to him. After checking with another gun store, they checked with their supplier who has 25 of the exact same guns sitting on their shelf which we could get in 3-5 days, I called AO to cancel our order and get our refund. With the exception of my very last call to them today, I have never encountered such poor customer service! I'm usually really easy going and don't complain about businesses but I just had to share our terrible experience so hopefully you don't go through the same headache we encountered. My husband works at least 70-80 hours a week and now has to spend his only day off on Saturday to drive up there to collect our $600 that they've had in their bank account for the last 4 months.
