Review content:
I have eaten at this Tex-Mex restaurant several times over the years, mostly for lunch. I considered it adequate. We were there for dinner tonight, May 11, 2012. We were somewhat early and the place was beginning to pick up business. We were the 2nd table seated. the hostess and waitress did not appear to be very comfortable communicating in English. We got through the ordering process well enough, however my dining companion attempted to not have Bell peppers served with the fajitas. It appeared as though this were understood, until they arrived loaded with Bell peppers. The fajitas, I was told were good otherwise. The portion was large.\r

I had shrimp enchiladas. This seems simple enough and it tasted as expected. The rice was more clumpy than it should have been. The refried beans were bland. The biggest sin in the enchiladas was that, though the strimp were tasty and large, they were highly inconsistent. You would not expect some of them to have tails remaining in an enchilada and others with the entire shell remaining. This was surprising. If this was not enough there was additional shell in the enchiladas possibly to add a bit of crispiness. I was certain the complaint would not have gone well as it never would have been understood. \r

One other thing I thought was unforgivable. I asked for Tabasco's. The waitress came back with some other hot sauce. She seemed surprised at my objection. I asked for another namebrand hot sauce. They did not have that either. She offered a green sauce that they apparently make on-site. This sauce, was not bad, though, not very hot. I would sum this place up as being mediocre Tex-Mex, but if you're in a hurry and your standards are not too high, have a go at it for lunch.
