I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about this place. I took my dog there to get groomed yesterday and gave VERY specific instructions that I wanted to keep her hair longer because she is Yorkie. She had some matting, so I told them if they could not get them out w/ a brush, just cut the matts out and trim the rest of her hair so it stays longer. I also confirmed the price and the MAX she told me it would be is $35 (WITH matting). My fience picked her up for me and when I got home she was COMPLTELY buzzed down to the skin. I was absolutely HORRIFIED. She had NO hair!!!! And on top of it, when I asked him how much it cost, he said they charged us $42, which is more then the max she told me, all for a haircut I SPECIFICALLY and made VERY clear I did not want!!! The place is very dirty and very small, and the owners were extremely rude when I brought her in, my fience said she was rude when he picked her up because he told her how horrible the dog looked and that it wasn't what we aske for at all, and when I called this morning to tell her how upset I was that she went against what I had made clear I wanted, she said that was all she could do and then hung up on me. I would NEVER go there again, and if you don't want a horrifying haircut for your dog, I would recommend the same for you!
Pros: I was able to get her an appointment right away, but now I know why!!
Cons: Shaved my Yorkies hair down to the skin!! And then charged more then she said it would be for it!!! VERY rude!! And very dirty!!
