Every night is an enjoyable experience at a local Italian trattoria in Ft. Greene. Attentive service and great food make you feel like a king or queen without the hugh price tag! Enjoy a $25 five-course dinner all day on Mondays and Tues-Sunday from 4-7:30 pm. On Sundays, they offer 30% off of the limited but excellent listing of red and white wines. enjoy the wonderful summer grilled fish, vitello tonato or fennel salad. The mussels Caffe Vino is wonderful--butter & herbed garlic sauce with shelled succulent mussels. The ravioli is fantastic in cream or a light tomato sauce. Make sure someone orders the fettuccine with veal ragu or the ricotta-veal meatballs. The homemade foccacia with tomato flan greets you but save room for the wonderful rich & creamy ricotta cheesecake or the panna cotta. The service is attentive and friendly. The music is a blend of boradway favorites, pop and romantic sogns with a few techno pieces to liven the atmosphere. The garden is beautiful and helps to enjoy the summer evenings. The plavce is initmate for a romantic dinner or can accomodate a wonderful crowd of friends to casually dine each evening. Brooklyn is enjoying a great revival in food destinations and proving that not all the great places are located on Smith Street! Ft. Greene has a jewel in this place. Pros: Great Food, Even Better Prices, Attentive Service Cons: sometimes a bit too crowded
