It's a known fact that places will not work on you faster if you have insurace- they'll move slower b/c they have to wait for the insurance check & they'll move faster if you have cash in hand. This shop is one of those places who go by that way of thinking. My insurance set up an appointment w/ the company. I gave a detailed description of the damage, including the fact that the molding was damaged. A day later the company comes out & then remarks on how they can't repair it b/c they don't have the molding. Uh... shouldn't you have brought that out with you if you were planning on taking out the windshield entirely, even if I hadn't mentioned the molding? Every car has molding on their windshield, so it's not like this is a new invention!
Pros: None- my insurance forced me to go through them
Cons: slow, stupid, doesn't care unless you are paying up front
