Review content:
The doctors at Patients' First are all top notch. I have been seeing Dr. Marin and his fine group at both the Bayside and the Manhattan office, since they saved my life one wintery day in 1995. I was having an asthma attack, and I didn't want to go to the ER. The treatment I received that day was life saving and I have returned ever since. Dr. Marin diagnosed my Gall Bladder troubles, and got me a top surgeon, who removed the thing and had me back home to my family in 8 hours. I don't know who the cretin is that is putting up bad publicity about Dr. Marin and Patient's First, but he obviously has some mental issues.... Doctors serve the public, and no matter who you are, if you have insurance, they have to treat you.... Sometimes the folks who show up are not well.... and I don't mean physically! I would NEVER go to another primary care physician. They have a full range of testing facilities. I take my entire family there, and recently, I had a ""party,"" where I took a number of my friends for their check-ups. When we go together, we are able to catch lunch across the street at the delightful Sushi YOU. Dr. Marin is a superb diagnostician. He would give old Dr. House a good run for his money. He actually spends the time with the patients to listen to them. If you are looking for primary or emergency care, either in Queens or in Manhattan (I have a friend who comes in all the way from Connecticut for this group) go to Patients First. Both Dr. Marin and Dr. G are great. There is always some mention of the office staff in any DRs review. All I can say is that they bill me correctly. I'm not there to have the office girls look down my throat. The nurses, however, are fabulous. I have very small veins, and the phlebotomists are beyond great. So again- Patients' First- Go there, Get Well and Stay that Way.
