Review content:
As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted and seated at a lovely table by a wall of windows. Our drink orders were taken immediately (and came almost as quickly). Soon after drinks, a basket of warm rolls and mango butter arrived. (I know, mango butter sounds a little strange, but trust me, it is beyond delicious.) For an appetizer, we ordered the calamari. Very good. For entrees, my neighbor ordered the Seven Gables Chicken (a favorite of hers), while I shared the Chateaubriand Bouquetiere (for two) with the other. The b?arnaise was spectacular, the meat cooked to perfection and even the vegetables were served with just the right amount of seasoning and crispness. I'm not usually one to eat every last bite, but this time....I did. And I even managed to save room for dessert after hearing about the Creme Brulee....which I also ate every bite of. I feel that we're so lucky to have such a great, independent restaurant right in Conyers, and I definitely plan on returning. I can't wait to share the Chateaubriand with my husband -- I have a feeling that Seven Gables is going to become our ""special occasion"" go-to place. I must mention too -- that our service the entire night was top-notch. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing. The chef even came out and spoke to us about our meals. A+! Can't wait to return!
