I REALLY wanted to like this place.. it's close by, and we got a greate deal on it from groupon to give it a shot. The Evening started with being escorted in to a dark, dirty bar and being asked to wait for our table (we had reservations, and the place was half full). We were seated after 10 minutes, and sat there for 30 MINUTES before anyone brought us water / bread / wine. Then when they DID bring it the ""Home made fresh bread"" was stale old hamburger buns. We got our app - Crab raviolies, It was OK, but pretty obviously a mass-made frozen thing, The staff (Father / Daughter?) are very slow, and unfriendly. They claim to be fine dining, but you definitely get none of that, from the food OR the service. I got the Rack of lamb (4 lamb lollypops, with zero seasoning, no crust on the outside, and a canned brown gravy. Horrid. I didnt even eat it. Luckly my wife shared hers, which was much better, The Pheasant in phyllo dough - Loved that dish. Finished up with a slice of store-bought cheesecake that was just so-so. Luckily we got this meal on a groupon, and only paid $20 for it. If we had paid the full price (which would have been $100 with Tip), I would have been upset. This place is a step DOWN from chili's applbee's quality, but think that they are serving michelin star food. I WOULD go back for the pheasant dish alone.. That really was good.. Otherwise there is no reason to go there. 1 star for the Pheasant i guess. Maybe with another killer groupon we would go give them another chance!
