Probably the coziest bar I've ever been to. Chill enough for one-on-one drinks with an old friend yet intimately casual enough for a post-dinner date. They have nice sized vintage tables which are perfect for birthday gatherings or post-gallery-opening gatherings or girls-night-out gatherings. In fact, there's a big booth in the back with a table that you can take over with a group of 8-10 friends and have a bit of privacy. And one of the best things about Heather's is that they are one of the few places in the city that actually serve wheat-free gluten-free beer! Fah real! Pros: Chill ambience, Wheat-free Gluten-free beer, Great DJs, Awesome staff Cons: Can get crowded on weekends but doesn't every good bar in the East Village?
