Came here for my husband's birthday and called ahead to make reservation and let them know it's a birthday dinner (hint, hint). They not only didn't put a candle in dessert, our waitress didn't put two-and-two together when he mentioned to her it was his birthday. Tsk. In any case, the food was very tasty - the raviolini was absolute perfection - Spring on a plate! The hangar steak, however, was charred black (we ordered it medium) and the seasonal black sea bass was tiny for the $32 it cost. The bread pudding was just ok, it would have been disappointing if it wasn't for the scotch sauce. We expected a little bit more for the money, especially in Brooklyn. Pros: good food, nice atmosphere, beautiful space Cons: overpriced, not enough attention to preparation, no bday surprise
