Review content:
A very appealing exterior in a hipster redoubt, a tastefully decorated interior, excellent meat and fish entrees, okay desserts, ample if overpriced (blame the euro?) wine list... why the two stars? As at least another reviewer has indicated, the rushed, spotty and on more than one occasion snotty service ruined what could have been a pleasant meal for me and my guests. Attracted by the food, I have returned several times, and found the waiting staff consistently... inconsistent at best. They offer reservations as late as 10PM, but if you linger past the staff bedtime, rest assured they will let you know in more ways than one. Another relatively minor peeve is the din in the room at rush hour: it makes conversations in a normal tone of voice impossible. Not very romantic, is it?
