Review content:
Last week I, my wife and our 3 year old daughter made our weekly trek to Mimi's at Lakewood Mall. We had a good meal and the service was exceptional (in a good way), however, dessert was a new experience. The meal my wife usually orders comes with dessert and she ordered the Fresh Apple Cinammon Crisp tp share with our daughter... but both were too full for dessert so it defaulted to me. When I bit into the dessert I found something new... a nut, attached to a bolt. Luckily my teeth were not damaged and the hole in the roof of my mouth will heal. Thankfully my daughter and my wife did not want the dessert, the outcome could have been bad, especial;ly for my 3 year old. As no one was seriously injured Mimi's corporate office offered me a $20 gift card to resolve the matter. I have sent it back and will let the LA County Health Dept. insure that it doesn't happen again.
