Review content:
We paid David Dodd painting about $2500.00 in Sept. 2007 to paint all outside of our mobilehome. As of this past two wks my husband has had to go over it in all area's around the house. We sent a letter to the dad of the company, David Dodd, and explained our concern. As of this date, we've heard nothing back, so we figure he's not going to reply.... probably because he gave us $100 back on an inside ceiling job that he didn't fix right & we had to pay another $150 to get that fixed RIGHT. I can't imagine a company being in business for 40 yrs here like they say they are & then not try to make a job right w/the customer. I'd say that's pretty low of them to do. We're on a low fixed income, retired, and they knew that. Part of our paint job on the trim especially looks like the paint was either watered down or just not gone over like it should be... it looks like a water or urine stain..... that's all I know to compare the look of the stain to. This whole thing these past 2 wks has really made me angry.... everytime I look outside & see my husband redoing what should have been done right the first time. I will never refer this company to anyone & I will be letting others know if they need painting done........DO NOT call David Dodd Painting to do it. Shame on them for not even responding to my letter..... doesn't say much about their character or a man that own's his own company.... shame on them!!!!
Cons: Quality of this job didn't hardly last 5 months... either they used watered down paint, or just did a brush over job to begin with. AWFUL!!!!
