Review content:
This is a kind of amazing hotel. However, there is NO AIR CONDITIONING! Temps can reach 100 in Santa Rosa in the summer months, so you will be miserable and drowning in sweat all night. However, during the day you will love the enormous sparkling pool, attentive and cute male/female teenage drink/food servers (and the hourly ""adult swim"") as well as the gorgeous old pine trees and quiet location far from traffic. The food was quite good. Almost all of the staff is exemplary, however, a few -- and surprisingly this is not age-specific -- are clueless. A high-school kid working the front desk was eager to check me out instead of addressing a polite request, an elderly German breakfast waitress spent 15 minutes chatting with a family about nothing in particular instead of bringing me a menu or water or even acknowledging me as a human being. But the air conditioning thing is unbelievable. It's just unbearably hot in the summer, nuff said.
