Review content:
I went in this store several months ago with my 4 kids to pick up tropical fish for our aquarium. My 2 year old was playing with a dog toy and managed to submerge part of it in one of the aquariums as we were checking out the fish. The store rep there at the time (not sure if she was a manager or not) made me pay $20.00 for the dog toy. I still bought the $25.00 worth of fish and complied with buying the dog toy.
Needless to say, I have never returned to that store again to buy anything. So, they did get $20.00 from me for the dog toy, but they will never get another penny from me ever again. It's unfortunate, because I try to give local merchants my business, as opposed to large chains such as Petco. However, I highly doubt Petco would have charged me $20.00 if the same incident happened. They would have just written it off as a lose, which is sometimes the cost of doing business with parents with kids.... OR even without kids if an accident happens and something breaks.
Anyone reading this can make their own decision if they still want to support an establishment which makes these sort of business decisions.
