I am the owner at Candlelight Kitchen Designs and I can assure you that the review is completely false. We have been in business as a family owned company for 31 years and do not plan on going anywhere anytime soon. I can also guarantee the doors we use on all of our custom cabinetry are SOLID WOOD, we do not use veneered doors. We have been manufacturing custom cabinetry using the highest quality materials possible, if you request all plywood the cabinets will be made using a very high grade 3/4"" Maple Plywood, all hinges, drawers slides and cabinet hardware come with a lifetime warranty and that is from the manufacturer ""BLUM"" which is a very reputable manufacturer for cabinet hardware. As far as the handles or knobs they are also supplied by a few top quality manufacturers which all provide a lifetime warranty as well. All hardware is installed using precision jigs and I can assure you if something was not drilled properly the door would have been replaced in a timely manner. As far as the insides of the cabinets being rough, I'm not actually sure how that could happen. All panels are ran through an edgebander that uses a straight cut and bevel router bit and then it passes through a buffing wheel to smooth out any edges. We do not lay chipped tiles, at the expense of roughly $1 per tile we can afford to toss anything with an imperfection which is very rare at that.
In my opinion you do get what you pay for and if you choose to go with Candlelight your going to end up with quality work. I'm speaking about quality referring to the entire process from concept to completion. If you have any doubt just give us a call and see for yourself. I can provide you with lists of local references along with several letters of recommendation from businesses, contractors, and home owners we've provided services to.
Please be advised our economy has seen better days. There are many contractors who are in business one day and gone the next. 31 years and running strong is something I pride our family business on.
