Review content:
I have been to Portrait Innovations in another state and had a great experience, so I am giving this one star to this specific location and more specifically to Steven. I took my daughter in today to have her portrait made with her grandparents. I informed Steven, our photographer, that we were interested in the $9.95 special. He took 102 picture of various poses and backgrounds, a normal procedure. This part of our experience was fine. After the photo shoot Steven directed us to the computer where we viewed the photos. Honestly, hardly any of them were great, but a few of them were okay. So, I had him eliminate the pictures we didn't like. He kept informing me how much money he was saving me by offering me all kinds of packages and told me the total was at the top of the screen......$350 when I looked up....so, knowing I only wanted one, possibly two poses, I told him this and he sharply told me he HAD to show me all the poses two at a time and I HAD to choose between each of the pictures. So, I cooperated and then, when I had eliminated all but a few poses he asked me ""So, you don't like anything we did here today?"" To which I replied, not too many of them, actually, but we do want one pose for the advertised special and one additional pose. He was clearly disgusted and acted quite rudely about my decision. He was appalled that we did not want to pay an additional fee for the CD of our images (why would I want a CD of all the images I had just eliminated?) I held my tongue, but I wanted to tell Steven that he really did not take ANY great pictures, but the two poses that were okay we wanted. Why is that a problem? If you advertise a special and that is ALL the customer wants, then be pleasant, courteous and give the customer what they want. That is how you get repeat customers. Had I to do it over again, I would have given Steven my thoughts in person and walked out the door with NO pictures and gone elsewhere to have our portraits made. The end.
