Before purchasing a home in Sarasota, we discovered the house inspectors somewhat whitewashed their report to us especially in regard to the condition of the tile roof. In fact, after we bought the house, we found the roof was disintegrating and started leaking our first month. We called several firms and got sticker shock. A neighbor recommended calling Ian Fox, owner of Fox Roofing. We decided to have him replace the tile with shingle and he finished the job in a less than a week even coming back and painting the skylight sides that were covered by the tile but not by the shingle. Ian Fox is a gentleman. Although very busy, he managed to squeeze us in due to the condition of the roof. He gave us everything in writing including start and finish dates and was on the job every day. I would recommend him to others who need a roof at a reasonable price.
