Review content:
I went out with a group of friends who had already decided to come here. I'd never had Japanese before, so I was a little hesitant about trying it. No problem! If you eat steak or chicken and most common seafoods, this is a GREAT place to go. Our chef was a funny little guy who made us laugh alot and made sure we were entertained visually and I figured the food couldn't be good because he was trying to take our attention away from it. WRONG! He grilled the only chicken I've ever had that wasn't dry. And tender? Wow. I tried one friends steak and it, too, was very tender. Another friend let me try his lobster which I dipped in the chef's own ""homemade"" sauce. This stuff should be marketed. I asked how he made it and he said it was an American butter ""secret"" sauce. Four of us tried to find out his name and everytime we asked, he gave a different name. Once he said, ""Chunky"" and once ""Japanese Crazy"". Those were the only two I could remember. The rest of the time, I was too busy laughing at his ""Japanese Worm"" - which was a crawling shrimp - and enjoying one of the best meals I've ever had. I'll definitely go back either with these friends or some others. By the way, our service was very good. Our server kept our drinks full and kept checking with us to make sure everything was okay. Her name was Natti - the spelling may not be right, but that's how it sounded.
Pros: Chef and server
Cons: One table had too many people at it
