I've been an ITEX member since 4-30-10 and it's been great. I have used quite a few of the other vendors in the network and have never had a problem. I have only ever been treated with respect from the other owners. How does a restaurant charge double what their menu states? I have fixed pricing on my site for my services and charge the same prices cash or barter. It's typical and normal for some providers to only barter the labor part of their services. Think Blue Sky is going to build you a deck and barter 2 or 3 grand in lumber and materials? No but they will barter the 2 or 3 grand in labor to build that deck. Bottom line, barter isn't for everyone but I have had only positive experiences with ITEX and will continue to be a member for a long time to come.
