The Young Eagles club is held the second Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Stow Aviation located at 302 Boxboro Rd, Stow MA 01775 Each year volunteer pilots try to give 1 million kids a free plane ride and plane lesson. The Young Eagles is for kids ages Eight to Eighteen. This service is free and a great experience for kids. They get to go up in a Cessna plane with a pilot for about a ten or fifteen minute plane ride flying high above the clouds. They have a group session before the fights start to teach the kids about plane safety, plane instruments, rules of the air, safety check on the plane before take off. These monthly flights are a great way for kids to see some of the world from above and enjoy the scenery all for free. Kids can go just once or keep coming back every month and go again. This is a lot of fun for the kids as well as educational.
