Review content:
A gem of a place! Fairly busy for a Tuesday night, but still lots of prompt personal service. In fact the owners even came to our table and made us feel so welcome. Wonderfully straightforward meal prepared well. The goat cheese appetizer and shrimp scampi got us off on the right start. The arugala salad was with walnuts and sliced apples was delightful, especially good and plentiful gorgonzola! My companion was pleased with the roasted beet salad. The aspargus risotto was delightful and a generous portion. Chicken saltimbocca had a delightful lemon sauce with capers and wonderfully fresh green beans. Others in our party were pleased with very fresh cheese ravioli. But save room for the delightful peanutbutter banana gelato,we had the flourless chocolate cake with it all drizzled with white chocolate. Also had cannolis and I'm no ""foody"" but I love to eat...oh, the ricotta was so fresh those cannolis, made me think I was back in South Boston. This place was a real treat, moderately priced and kind of a hidden gem. Will definitely be back!
Pros: Unpretentious, just careful service and great food! Never felt rushed, good fresh-tasting entrees and salads, but wonderful desserts too,
Cons: Can't come up with a one--well, I had to wait for the single men's bathroom to open, but it was clean and spacious!
