Review content:
My wife works in the area so I met her for our regularly scheduled date night dinner Friday and Truxton's was packed. Service was surprisingly fast and their seasonal menu rocked. We were shocked to find a gluten free pizza and one that tastes better than most regular crusts. Our server told us we could substitute this crust on any of their pizzas even though the menu didn't list it. Turns out that sharing the tomatoe basil bisque, cambozola and fig pizza, rotisserie prime rib (Fri/Sat special) and Big O cookie made for a great family style dinner (oh, plus her Sweeteani and my Margatini). Normally we try a new place each Friday but we're going back tonight for their July winetasting with another couple. Pros: service, seasonal menu, Lou the bartender
