The people at this hostel were so great. We originally booked and paid a deposit at Miami International Travelers Hostel, but when we arrived there they told us they didn't have room for us!!!! they gave us no explanation and just gave us our deposit back and told us to go find somewhere else. They mention Harrison Hotel, so we went there. When we arrived the girl at the desk was so helpful and friendly and got us a room straight away, she was even apologizing for the other hostel even though they have no association with them whatsoever. The rooms were fine for the price, they all had private bathrooms and it included free linen and towel and breakfast (only toast and coffee but it was fine). It has an awesome courtyard where everyone can hang out, met some great people here from all over the world. Location is also fantastic, one block from the beach and close to shops, restaurants and nightclubs.The best thing about this place though is Mike. He did everything and anything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He organized tours for us to Everglades and Orlando and got us some really good deals!!!!! We had some problems with the tour company with the our tour to Orlando, even though it was entirely the comany's fault and not Mikes he did everything he could to try get the money back for us and make our stay at Harrison enjoyable. we ended up going on cruises and short trips out of Miami but we always came back here for the rest of our stay. I definitely recommend this place!!!
