Review content:
I have been to San Tan Flats quite a few times in the last year. Everytime I go, I try something new from the menu, and every meal has been absolutely delicious. Whenever I have out of town company visiting, this is the first restaurant that I take them to. You can sit inside, which is decorated western style, or you can sit outside...which is hard to describe unless you have been there. The outside seating is in this big open courtyard full of wooden picnic-style tables and chairs. There is a stage where they have live music and an open area where people can dance (well, they're not supposed to, but I won't get into that here). Every table is near a fire pit, which you can light up yourself, or one of the staff will light it up for you. The main building is across from the courtyard, which is where you can eat inside, order your food, or belly up to the bar. A separate building by the stage has darts and pool tables. Prices are great on all meals. Try the potato cakes--they are like twice-baked potatoes that have been breaded and fried. They also have these steak tips that are breaded and fried--great to dip in ranch dressing. Burgers are big, juicy, and served on a nice roll. I have never been disappointed--neither will you. One caveat--parking can get tricky on weekends. Pros: food, ambience, entertainment, great for all ages Cons: parking on the weekends
