Review content:
I stay in a lot of budget hotel/motels all over the place. I don't need a lot. A bed and a shower suits me fine. Cleanliness, however, IS important and this place was not by any means. Walking into the lobby, I found myself in a choking cloud of cigarette smoke and a mean looking guy sitting on the couch puffing on a cigarette. He seemed to be the owner's son. She was behind the plexiglass puffing away with a plate size ashtray full of butts beside her. I paid for my room and pulled up to what looked like a cute row cottage type of architecture. I parked outside my room, walked in. Tiny room, but cute. Carpet is stained. Pulled back covers on bed and wondered if it had been changed since it was very wrinkled and also stained. Found an African American hair on the pillow. Sheets didn't seem to smell ""slept in"". Turned to go into bathroom and there is a small plastic trash can that hasn't been emptied. In it was a wad of African American hair like it picked from a comb after combing. Gross. I lifted toilet lid, skid mark in the toilet. I think I threw up a little. They don't clean the toilets?? I took out my antibacterial wipes and wiped all handles, tv remote, everything. I didn't take off my boots except to sleep and shower but they stayed on all other times. Towels were clean but the size of hand towels. No phone or clock in room but with my cell phone it wasn't a big deal. Woke up early and got the hell outta there. Too bad because this place has a lot of potential.
