Review content:
The 1st generation Guyots must be turning in their grave over what the 4th generation has done with the business they created. This is a classic case of earlier generations working hard, and then turning a business over to a younger generation that is spoiled and feels entitled, but has no care or desire to run a business anywhere except for into the ground. Even though Guyot has high visibility on Google and a minimum purchase of 1 gross for each item, unless you are a really large company like Trinity Brass or Vintaj, these people do not care about your business. After waiting for over a week to have my order confirmed, I called Guyot and heard lots of whining about how they had 48 employees and were now down to 9 (Gee, I wonder why?) and how they were being flooded with orders from smaller businesses that were really gumming up the works. In addition from the attitude and Andrea Twombly Guyot and her husband have plenty of it (because they think they have a high demand product and are one of the few who provide it. Not for long, even China is getting into the brass findings business) they have increased the price of their products at least twice this year and also regularly charge my credit card over 20% of the price they quoted. Is this the US? Is it not possible for a small business to grow to a large business? Not if you rely on Guyot brothers! There are other USA based brass findings manufacturers who have larger inventories, are reliable and more affordable.
