Review content:
Food: This was our first visit to Novecento. The food was fresh with high quality ingredients, but was quite bland in flavor. The presentation was nice and portion sizes were generous. For appetizers we had the ceviche which was tasty, but again bland, and the empanadas, which were pretty good. For dinner, my husband ordered the filet mignon and I had the corvina (fish) stacked on polenta. Both the filet and corvina were cooked to perfection, but the fish was so bland I could't eat more than a few bites. Dessert I have to say was the best part of the meal! The triple chocolate was yum (a chocolate molten lava cake with chocolate icecream and shaved chocolate straws) the dulce de leche creme brulee was also heavenly.
Pros: generous portions, fresh food, excellent desserts
Cons: overpriced drinks, deafeningly loud inside, definitely not the place for a romantic dinner
