Review content:
Truly fine cuisine. The artichoke soup was excellent. I also had the Fettucine Pesto with chicken which was also excellent. They have several tasty salad dressings to choose from and the salads are adequately garnished and are pretty tasty even without dressing. The ""SI"" stands for ""Sweet Indulgence (cafe)"" which has long been a favorite sweet spot of Las Crucens for years. Along with fine desserts Sweet Indulgence also served up some fine sandwiches; Chicken Green Chile, Chicken Curry, Spicy Portobello with Red Pepper (awesome), Grilled Eggplant, Waldorf Chicken Salad Sandwich, just to name a few. Sweet Indulgence is now within the Italian Bistro restaurant. Desserts are great (my favorite is the triple mousse with white chocolate, milk chocolate and a dark chocolate on top of a thin layer of cake)- a little pricey though. The restaurant is situated back from the street a bit in a beautiful mansion type early 20th century home. There is seating on three different levels and an open kitchen. I would also like to note that at the time of my first visit, there was only one waitress, one chef. There were at least 25-30 people inside and although they apologized for the wait, the wait was not long at all. The service was superb and it was a totally satisfying dining experience. You may want to make reservations during peak hours (Friday and Saturday nights).Great cuisine!
Pros: Great service. Great food.
Cons: Kinda hard to avoid the desserts
