Review content:
We were there on a Monday, but this is no excuse for how awful this experience was. The waitress seemed friendly, helpful and accommodating, although the hostess kept reminding people that they had to finish their meals in order for tables to become available. People were actually told how long they could stay there. The wine list is beyond markup, with many unsuitable selections that don't match the food well, especially the dessert wines (I work in the wine business). My friend and I LOVED the scrumptious meatball sliders, however we both ordered the roast snapper and a side of brussels sprouts. The snapper somehow managed to be both overcooked and raw at the same time, stringy and hard to cut. Served on runny, tasteless mashed potatoes. The only detectable flavoring seemed to be salt. The sprouts were tough and overly sweet. Out of sheer curiosity at whether or not they would ruin it, and because were were early for our play, we stayed for dessert. The fruit cobbler was all flour and sugar. Then we watched in horror as the hostess made the next table get up in the middle of their meal and move for more high profile guests. For these outrages, for just 2 of us, we shelled out over $115 for the meal, 1 drink each and 1 dessert wine. Avoid at all costs, for cost it will be.
Pros: meatball sliders
Cons: absolutely everything else
