Review content:
Minnie94, we just noticed your post. Obviously, you have been through a lot over the past few years, and we shared much of that with your family. Residents like your mom and dad and families do appreciate the continuum of care that Touchmark offers. This continuum includes residential care (similar to assisted living) as well as on-site home health, home care, and rehabilitation therapy. This range of options does indeed serve most very well. There are some cases, though, that due to licensing and regulatory requirements necessitate that an individual may need to move to a higher level of care, such as skilled nursing. We always regret when a resident needs more care and must move; we know that a move can be difficult for everyone involved. Our goal with any prospective resident looking to move to Touchmark is to always explain our abilities and limitations regarding care and services. One last point that I must address: We provide a full life to all residents living here, whether they use a walker, a wheelchair, or don?t need any assistive device at all. The goal always is to enrich people?s lives.
