Review content:
I recently went back to Belcaro Paint & Decorating after using several other paint stores or big hardware store for my paint projects. I had a specific question to ask, What water based clear coating can I use for a new hot tub? I had been told to use a marine spar varnish or Thompson's waterseal. Both I had used before, not on a hot tub, and hated the finish I received with them. Asking John on what to use, he first suggested a Benjamin Moore water based acrylic, but did some research for me and recommended a different product because what he first suggested would of caused the hot tub cedar to turn white. I turely appreciate his extra effort, otherwise I would be having to strip and re-coat within the year. He went above and beyond in getting me the right product.
Pros: Great service and product knowledge
