Review content:
I have been a patron here for 8 years and my dachaund is my child. In November, Dr. Boudreaux expressed my dogs glands. When Snappy returned home he walked differently and was very sensitive (whimpering randomly). I called to ask if anything could have happened and they laughed. In the following weeks I made numberous calls regarding his worsening condition. Each time I brought him in they just told me that nothing was wrong and that Snappy was fine. By the time January rolled around, Snap started dragging one of his legs. We took him in and they did an xray. Dr. Phillips said Snap was fine and started him on dex). The day after the xray Snap would not even get up and he just cryed in his bed so I called again. They gave me pain medicine and prednisone to try. After that every time Snappy would get up, it was clear something was VERY wrong. One leg was really dragging and the other seemed very weak. I called the clinic and told them to ready Snappy's records, as I was going to take him elsewhere for a second opinion. When I arrived to pick up the records, Dr. Jordan told me that he could see a problem area on the xray and that his collegues should have recognized it. Can you believe the nerve?! I'm calling them daily for answers and I don't get any until I'm literally on my way to another clinic. I went staight over to another clinic where the vet diagnosed Snap just by feeling his back. He said the treatment was NO activity (in a cage) for 3 weeks, heavy steroids, and monitoring him for indications for back surgery. I'm sick to my stomach that had we been with competent doctors this would have been caught in November and my dog would still be able to walk. We will definately never set foot in the Small Animal Clinic again. Please let our terrible experience here save your animal's life AND GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
