Businiess name:  Powder House Ski & Snowboard

Review content:
I have skiied for over 25 years and rented equipment at various locations. The Powder House was the worst experience that I have ever had. To begin with, when I went in to rent their ski equipment, there was no organization to obtaining the equipment. Everyone stood in one line and the equipment was given out all at once. After you signed your paperwork you were left to wait until a tech found you. This created chaos and confusion and made the wait time lengthy. The techs smelled like alcohol and illegal substances. My first time up on the lift my ski came off for no reason. Ski patrol told me the ski came off because the bindings were not properly set. I was told by numerous locals that the Powder House is known for shotty equipment and service. I received a phone call six weeks after I had left and thought that I was not being charged for the ski and was told that they had just charged me $150.00 for it. Anyone who might be considering using this establishment, I would strongly suggest you to reconsider. There are plenty of ethical decent establishments available in South Lake Tahoe. On a scale of 1-10, I give this establishment a negative 10.
