You might not be able to tell just from the name, but Trellis is pretty much an Italian restaurant. I got the bucatini with pancetta, which was good and satisfying (but not spectacular). Everything they serve you will be a good portion (I had leftovers). The pasta dishes are $11-16, mostly around $12.
I was a single diner when I went and the staff is good to single diners. My server was professional and attentive but not overbearing. When he brought me the bill, he said, ""We don't close until 10, so take your time if you want to read some more."" It was only 8:15.
Trellis is a good neighborhood standby. The food is nothing to go out of your way for, but it's good enough.
