This dealership sold us a car that was about to blow a head gasket. He poured so much stop-leak in it that it completely clogged up the engine. Within 2 months, we put $700 into fixing many issues, only to have the head gasket blow right after we repaired other issues. The head gasket would have been over $1500 to fix. They knew that the head gasket was leaking, but they loaded it up on stop-leak so that it would last just long enough for us to give him his money. In the 3 months we owned this car, the throttle positioning sensor, fuel pump, ignition box, and the head gasket all broke. They seem to take pleasure in selling lemons.
We were lucky in that we took it to our independent mechanic to fix the problems rather than paying Skip more to fix problems. Skip's is notorious for selling cars with major issues, then offering to repair the issues for high prices. They will suck every dollar you have out of you. Our mechanic says 90% of the vehicles they see from this place end up in the crusher.
