Review content:
What would summer be without a stop to Mr. Cone on Route 17M. Located on a corner of busy intersection in Monroe, this well known ice cream stand is a favorite for big and little kids.
This outdoor ice cream stand boasts a few sit down tables where you can enjoy your ice cream on a hot summer's evening. You can also get fast food here such as hot dogs, burgers, & fries.
I love Mr. Cone because the soft serve ice cream is delicious--either served on a cone or in a dish. The usual ice cream treats such as sundaes, milk shakes, freezes are served promptly and with a smile by a small friendly staff of young people at the counters. Many different flavors of hard ice cream are also available. Frozen pop treats are a popular item for small children who can barely reach the counter.
The biggest challenges sometimes is just negotiating the small parking lot to grab a spot while you get your ice cream.
The stand usually opens in late spring and stays open into October.
