Review content:
I had been a member of gym 5's for about a year and I thought it was great! It was never really crowded and the machines are nice...however it is VERY limited with the exercise regimine you can have. All there are are like 10 ellipiticals and 10 treadmills with a couple of bikes thrown in. The weight machines are quality, but like I said your limited! I decided to leave gym5 bc the new Y opened downtown and it is MILLION times better and has a trillion of extra options for my workout!! The owner of Gym 5 is not friendly and seriously he became really rude the day I mentioned cancelling!! I get that but please you are a business of people and he charges almost $20 more than the Y and has 75% less equipment and options than the Y (such as 2 tracks, 2 pools, steam rooms, sauna, massage therapists, a ton of classes, pilates studio, more than 3 stretching mats, helpful and polite staff, and best of all not the risk of getting knifed in the parking lot!!)
Pros: OK gym for simple and minimal workouts
Cons: location, staff, monthly rate, professionalism, very minimal classes and equipment
