Review content:
JP Sushi is a great, unassuming sushi bar. The staff is quick and courteous and the food is great. It's a great family style Japanese restaurant owned by two sisters and another business partner, they definitely make you feel right at home as you go in. Now for the best part, the food and drink selection. If you happen to be a connoisseur of sake, this is definitely the place for you. They serve a great selection of Ginjo cold sake as well as the more widely known warm sake. Now that the weather has turned warmer, I highly recommend asking the staff about the cold sake and giving one a try. The sushi is great. There menu has something for everyone and if you don't see it on the menu, definitely ask the head sushi chef if he can make it for you. More than likely he'll be more than happy to make it. I focus mainly on the sushi because that's my preference, but they have a great selection of teriyaki and Udon dishes as well. Personally, I'm a sashimi man myself. The Uni and quail egg is always sweet, the tuna, salmon, and yellowtail are always flavorful and fresh. For a change of pace, next time you are having sashimi I recommend asking for a small sampling of sesame oil with salt in it and a few slices of seaweed to wrap around the sashimi. It's definitely a refreshing change of pace. So if you happen to be in the Roswell / Alpharetta area and are looking for some very good sushi at an even better price, I definitely suggest you stop in and give JP's a try.
