Review content:
This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to review a physician. I have not even made it to my first appointment due to the excessive rudeness and unprofessional behavior of Dr. Jeri Gardner. I made my initial appointment 3 days before I was to go on vacation. While I was on vacation, I was able to contact my primary care physcian who informed me that I could actually get the wellness appointment covered by our insurance under Chiropractic Care. I thought my insurance would not cover the visit at all when I initially made my appointment. When I returned from vacation on a Friday (my appointment was on a Monday) I tried to call the clinic to reschedule (so I could see my primary care physician first) but there was a message stating they were out of the office for the day. I left a message with my desire to change the appointment. Dr. Jeri Gardner called me at home the night before the appointment,(at 8:45 pm) not identifying herself at first, to ask if I was going to keep my appointment. Remember, this was going to be my FIRST experience at this clinic. When I explained to her that I was trying to get the referral and that I had tried to contact her, she became very angry and began berating me. She stated that she was ""sorry that I had to go on vacation"" but that I would owe the entire amount for my appointment because I was cancelling too late. She basically called me a liar when I told her that the girl who made the appointments said to call back and change the appointment if I found I out needed to have a visit with my primary care physician first. I have never had a physician act so incredibly rude to a first time patient. First impressions are important if you want to keep clients.
