After having moved in and around Northern California more than enough times, I know what a pain in the @$$ moving can totally be. You can employ the aid of your friends, bribe them with all the drinks and dinner, but in the end, you end up moving most of your crap and having your furniture/items scraped around like a used rag doll. Or you hire day laborers (whoops) and they ""pretend"" to help you move your crap. Anyhow, on this next move, I decided a little too late to hire movers, but was SO GLAD that I did. After calling about 6 moving companies, I decided to go with Prodigy Moving because of 1) The courteous, friendly and professional people on the phone 2) The assurance of some of the reviews on yelp and other sites 3) They were available pretty much at one week's notice. THEY MOVED ME ON THANKSGIVNG MORNING! I could not get a weekend morning, so I ended up moving on Thanksgiving morning. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They called the day before to confirm the address for the move, they were ON TIME (8:01am to be exact), and they had a system that worked out to just move all of my crap out of my second story place to my new single-story place.
I WILL NEVER AGAIN USE DAY LABORERS OR MY FRIENDS AGAIN. I will always always use Prodigy because of their professionalism and they just ROCK overall.
Thanks for making my move the most pain-free and pleasant yet!
