I just brought my SPCA cat of 6 years here for the first time. He has the feline leukemia virus and chronic conjunctivitis as a result. Unlike other vets I've been to, Dr. Mike did NOT nickel and dime me for various tests, nor did he push steroid therapy (which merely masks the condition and which can result in diabetes and ulcers); rather, he cut to the chase, prescribed 4 helpful medications and kept the costs down. He charged just $37 for the office visit and encouraged me to purchase the prescriptions at local pharmacy (which is nearly always cheaper than what a vet charges!---and, get this--he pointed out that my AAA membership card entitled me to prescription discounts. Pros: friendly staff and vet; cost effective; knowledgeable vet
